The NX20 was one of the first in a series of cabinets coming from Yorkville that used custom designed neodymium speakers for the low end. Lighter than conventional speakers by an average of 60%, and with superior heat dissipation, the neodymium drivers exhibit no heat induced impedance shift. A conventional ceramic magnet speaker with performance specifications like the NX20 driver would have to carry a 60oz magnet and supporting basket, making a speaker weighing over 12 lbs.
The NX20 delivers a full 350 Watts, 65Hz-17000Hz, in a two way high efficiency speaker cabinet.
In addition, the cabinet itself has been molded for maximum versatility. The trapezoid box is ideal for mounting in arrays, or for use as a monitor, with recessed input jack plate and ideal wedge monitor angle taken into account in the initial design. This one cabinet is an ideal P/A solution for install, for mobile DJ, or live music reinforcement.
