Description
Bongo drums are two small open-ended drums joined together that produce soft sound and high pitch compared to conga drums, and are typically held behind the knees with the larger drum on the right when right-handed. Often played by hand for a Cuban flare with a steady pattern or ostinato of eighth-notes.
Each drum is a different size so you can produce different notes with each side.
