The Roland SDE-2500 has 64 memory slots for storing various delay effects. They can be changed using the unit’s front panel controls and switches, or with MIDI Program Change messages (0-127).
The maximum delay time and external CV Input Jack, which allows external control via control voltage, are both 750ms. The unit also features further remote-control options like Playmate (for setting delay time in real-time), Delay On/Off, Hold and Preset Shift Jacks. Stored settings can be saved for later retrieval, but the four knobs on the front panel will not show their exact values as they are not motorised. Stored settings include delay time, output level, feedback level, Modulation (rate and depth) and on/off states for delay range, delay phase and delay filter switches.
