Description

From Gibson:

“The serial number 73531 is consistent with a 2003 Gibson Custom 1957 Les Paul Reissue, Goldtop model. The COA provided does appear to be period correct as well. In 2003 Gibson did use Brazilian Rosewood fingerboards on Custom Shop Historic models from January 2003-May 31, 2003. The last 1957 Reissue serial number that used Brazilian Rosewood that year would have been 73707. Given this information, and your guitar’s ship date (4/24/2003), this guitar does fall within the serial number range of guitars that were manufactured with Brazilian Rosewood fingerboards.”

The electronics on this guitar have been changed and it has been fitted with new Gibson True Historic Custombuckers as well as new Gibson pots but still has the original Bumblebee capacitors.
